Also known as Dutch clogs and made in the Netherlands of Poplar wood, these plain shoes are actually quite comfortable. Finish sanded but unlacquered, these shoes will weather much like normal wood. The decorated shoes are lacquered for a longer-lasting finish.

To order your shoes, trace your bare foot on a piece of paper, and measure the outline from toe to heel in centimeters. Add one cm to the measurement for comfort. The American size conversions are for males, so subtract one size for female sizes.

Wooden shoes should not fit tightly. There should be a gap the width of your thumb behind your heel after you insert your foot. You should also wear a heavy pair of wool socks for comfort. If your shoes are a bit too large, you can add a second pair of socks to tighten the fit.

The prices for wooden shoes increase with each size. For the total cost, add $15.95 to the price listed in parenthesis for your size.
