This particular piece comes from the DeWit Unica Collection. The Unica line of the DeWit factory is produced by some of the most talented artists in the delft industry today. The delicate brush strokes used to complete these detailed decorations requires rare artistic talent and ability. The level of detail in these articles is truly unmatched. Although not as high-priced, some consider these pieces superior to Royal Delft, yet still not as collectible. All DeWit items come with a certificate of authenticity and are marked with the artist's initials and factory mark. We personally asked the factory to use the Dutch word "handgeschilderd" on the bottom to further guarantee the artist's touch. This particular piece is about 41cm (16") tall. |
