This adorable ornament features Sinterklaas with his staff, standing next to his elf, Zwarte Piet.
Zwarte Piet, meaning "Black Pete", is the loyal companion to Sinterklaas. Instead of Sinterklaas having to climb down the chimney, Zwarte Piet does this and lets Sinterklaas in the front door. His face and body are black due to climbing down the chimney covers him in soot. No Dutch Christmas tree is complete without Sinterklaas.
This particular ornament is made of a resin material and is about 9cm (3.5") tall.
