Rich with tradition, these chip-carved wooden shoes are a true work of art. Typically given by the groom to his future bride, they now feature Dutch craftsmanship and are finished with a sturdy lacquer finish. These shoes are definitely a collector's item: our supplier is the last one exporting from Holland.

To order your shoes, trace your foot on a piece of paper, and measure the outline from toe to heel in centimeters. Add one cm to the measurement for comfort. The American size conversions are for males, so subtract one size for female sizes.

Wooden shoes should not fit tightly. There should be a gap the width of your thumb behind your heel after you insert your foot. You should also wear a heavy pair of wool socks for comfort. If your shoes are a bit too large, you can add a second pair of socks to tighten the fit.

The prices for wooden shoes increase with each size. For the total cost, add $49.95 to the price listed in parenthesis for your size.
