Blue & White and Multicolored Delft Tiles

Here at Nelis' Dutch Village, we carry many different qualities and styles of delft tiles. These tiles also come in either Delft Blue or Multicolored Delft.

The famous delft tiles have a rich, long history of being used all over Europe in fine homes, churches, castles and cathedrals. Here in the USA, many colonial houses feature them in kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, bathrooms and cabinetry installations. They have been used for hundreds of years, and Harlinger is especially good at re-creating the look of antique Dutch tiles.

Delft tiles are perfect for kitchen backsplash and fireplace installations: All delftware is fired to over 1,700 degrees Fahrenheit in the production process, delft tiles will easily handle any normal household application, including fireplace surrounds and kitchen backsplashes.

We do a large number of fireplace surround installations. Although we don't recommend them to be used in the firebox itself, as they are too beautiful to be used in a manner where they will be covered with soot, burn marks or otherwise end up discolored.
