Here at Nelis' Dutch Village, we carry many different qualities and styles of delft tiles. These tiles also come in either Delft Blue or Multicolored Delft. The famous delft tiles are perfect for permanent installations, such as kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, bathrooms and cabinetry installations! Be sure to check out the Westraven 5" Tiles category, as they have the greatest selection of designs and background colors. A few words about delft tiles and fireplace installations: As all delftware is fired to over 1,700 degrees Fahrenheit in the production process, delft tiles will easily handle all normal household uses (including being used as hotplates in the kitchen), and we do a large number of tile sales for fireplace surround installations. We don't recommend them to be used in the fireplace themselves, as they are too beautiful to be used in a manner where they will be covered with soot, burn marks or otherwise end up discolored. |
